Hand‑embroidered over many months by Shipibo‑Konibo mothers in the Peruvian Amazon, this 150 × 150 cm tapestry is a woven prayer. Every geometric kené line—officially recognised by Peru as National Cultural Heritage—translates ancestral healing songs (icaros) into thread, preserving tradition and sustaining family livelihood with each patient stitch.

At the centre coils Ronin, the cosmic anaconda revered as guardian of the waters and origin of design. In this work she is portrayed with a single head that flows into two balanced bodies—a
creative depiction symbolising harmony, focus, protection, and the calm patience of the river. Flanking her are twin jaguar guardians, spirits honoured across the Amazon for their quiet strength and night‑clear vision, completing a field where balance and vigilance stand side by side.
