Bird Medicine Pathway Runner
Hand-embroidered over many months by Shipibo-Konibo mothers in the Peruvian Amazon, this 160 × 60 cm runner is a woven prayer. Every precise kené line—officially recognized by Peru as National Cultural Heritage—maps ancestral healing songs (ícaros) in thread, carrying energy from the outer edges inward.
Along its length, vine-faces give birth to Ronin’s serpent tails, symbolizing the invocation of plant-spirit medicine flowing into protective water currents. Those currents travel through kené pathways and converge in the central medallion, where the bird medicine perches. As messenger and guide, the bird brings clarity, renewed communication, and upliftment—its song the culmination of the runner’s layered healing sequence.
