Guardians of the Healing Vessel
Hand-embroidered over many months by Shipibo-Konibo mothers in the Peruvian Amazon, this 150 × 150 cm tapestry is a woven prayer. Every geometric kené line—officially recognised by Peru as National Cultural Heritage—carries ancestral healing songs (ícaros) in thread, filling each panel with balance and harmony.
At its corners, four outward-facing jaguar heads stand sentinel, symbols of silent strength and night-clear vision protecting the tapestry’s portal. In the centre, Ronin, the cosmic anaconda, coils around plant medicine. From its rim springs a small leafy tree, evoking the sacred plant spirits of healing ceremonies, while surrounding kené patterns trace unseen melodies in perfect symmetry.
Gifting this tapestry is an act of People Honouring People. When you present it to someone you cherish, you share months of devoted work—offering a symbol of a safe, peaceful, healthy home.
